Wires, Walls and Rooms Campaign
It's no surprise to anyone when they hear that the Waynesville-St. Robert Area
is continually growing. It's evident in the construction and upgrades we see
all over our community. The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce is no
exception to this growth and has begun to make the necessary renovations and
expansions to accommodate the needs of our membership and community.
September 8th marked the beginning of construction on the new Chamber offices
to be located in the lower level of the Pulaski County Tourism Building and
it also marked the kick off of the Wires, Walls and Rooms Campaign. The funds
raised during this campaign will be used to pay for the renovation materials
and miscellaneous expenses associated with the office relocation. The Chamber
is asking all area businesses and organizations to contribute to Wires, Walls
and Rooms through an investment of $250, $500 or $1,000. To acknowledge your
investment the Chamber will offer the following marketing, advertising and networking
opportunities:
At
the Wires level of $250 your business or
organization's name will be listed in the Chamber Newsletter,
and read during the open house celebration.
At
the Walls level of $500 you will receive
the benefits of the Wires level as well as having your business
or organization's name featured on a special Wires, Walls
and Rooms web page on the Chamber web site for 6 months.
At the Rooms
level of $1,000 you will receive the benefits of both the Wires and
Walls levels as well as having your business or organization's name placed on
a plaque to be displayed in the office and featured in radio advertisements
about the renovations. Your business or organization's name and logo will also
be listed in print advertisements about the renovations and featured on the
special Wires, Walls and Rooms web page for 6 months. And finally you will be
personally invited to attend an exclusive social with the Chamber Board to celebrate

Snyder-Jones Home Mortgage

Snyder Jones home mortgage was formed in November
2007 by Karen Snyder and Merle Jones. Together they assembled
a team of experienced professionals with a wide range of
backgrounds in the business. Snyder Jones knows that choosing
a lender is an important step in the process of homeownership.
It should be a local company that knows the local market,
knows our military, and is the best at what they do. Snyder
Jones has the expertise and background in the mortgage industry
to find the right home loan that best meets our customer
needs. We understand that credit issues arise and know how
to deal with them. We realize that our customers rarely
work 9-5 so we don't either. Snyder Jones is available after
hours and on weekends to assist our borrowers and realtors.
Being open 24/7 is a necessity for our military members.
We understand that and work hard to help them find the best
mortgage that fits their individual needs anytime of day.
We specialize in VA, Rural Development, Conventional, and
Commerical financing. We have two offices in St. Robert
one located at 920 Missouri Ave and one at 575 Marshall
inside the Jones Investment building. "Experience Excellence
in Home Lending" is not just our slogan it is the way
we treat each customer everyday.

The
Chamber will close its 2008 community activities with the
Veterans' Day Parade. We encourage everyone to line the streets
from the Waynesville Middle School to the Old Stagecoach Stop
in Downtown Waynesville to show your support and honor our
area Veteran's. Then make your way to the Old Stagecoach Stop
for the ceremony after the parade is complete. The staff is
also looking forward and starting to prepare for 2009 events
starting in January with the Polar Meltdown Chili Cook-off.

Greetings
everybody! What a month November is. We elect a president,
honor veterans on Veterans' Day, and celebrate Thanksgiving
Day. On top of that, daylight savings time ends which means
darkness will come earlier. It always seems so much later
when I leave work after dark. There seems to be so much darkness
around these days. I don't have to tell anyone about the gloom
and doom of the economy. People are struggling and the seems
to be a darkness in the land. LET'S NOT FORGET WE LIVE IN
A LAND OF LIGHT! We have the privilege of electing leaders.
We have the great blessing of having brave and dedicated military
who are willing to give their lives for us. We live in a bountiful
land with opportunities to chase our dreams. Things are lighter
than you may think. So give thanks. A thankful heart is a
uplifted heart. It'll change your outlook.

Tony
Bryan
Tony has only lived in Pulaski County since
2000, but has lived in Missouri his entire life. After being
brought here by the Army, he soon realized that this was a
great place to raise his family. As a Military Police Soldier,
Tony served in several different positions on Fort Leonard
Wood. He acted as a squad leader, operations sergeant, and
even Drill Sergeant. Just last year Tony made the transition
from military to civilian. Ever since then he has been helping
Soldiers and their families begin their path to financial
independence with First Command Financial Planning as a Financial
Advisor.
Tony, and his wife Addie (yes, the one at Security Bank),
have four beautiful children, Nolan who is 12, Elijah who's
5, and 4-year old twins Caleb and Chloe. In the little free
time that he has he enjoys golf, live music, and watching
St. Louis sports.
Serving as an Ambassador to this Chamber, Tony is committed
to promoting membership and the goodwill of the Waynesville-St.
Robert Chamber of Commerce within the community. Tony is also
currently serving as the chairperson to the Government and
Military Affairs Committee.

A Time for Thanksgiving
My husband and I grabbed an evening the other night to take
a spin on the motorcycle before we have to tuck it away for
the winter. We took the side roads, and just enjoyed the beautiful
area that we live in. The trees were just beginning to change,
the air was cool, the Gasconade and Roubidoux Rivers were
gurgling along. It gave me an hour or so to reflect on how
beautiful our area is. Wondering how and the heck October
could be over which lead me to
it's November. November,
the month to show our thanks.
