4 Person Scramble - June 6th, The Rotary Club of Pulaski County is hosting their annual golf tournament at the Piney Valley Golf Course. Registration is $50 per person and includes riding cart, green fee, and after-event BBQ. Check-in/Registration is 9:00 a.m. and Shotgun Start at 10:00 a.m. Contact Brad at 573-336-1273.

Kid's Night Out is back! - June 6th from 6 p.m .- 9 p.m. The theme for this month is Rockin Summer! School's Out! Wear something crazy, hats, socks, or crazy colors. Cost for the event is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers (per child). Event includes dinner and activities for ages 4 to 12. Call 573-337-9128 for more information or to reserve your spot.

Chamber Luncheon - June 11th at 11:45 a.m. at El Jimador. Our sponsor will be Cape Air. Please contact the Chamber Office to RSVP before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10th. Seating is Limited.

**Please note** The Chamber of Commerce is excited to have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons. Unfortunately, due to the large number of last minute Chamber luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in APRIL 2005; anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p. is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may be a $10 charged for the meal. The decision was made to charge this amount to compensate our Chamber member restaurants for the last minute adjusts they must make to their menus

USMC to host Volkslauf 10k - June 14th, the 15th annual U.S. Marine Corps Volkslauf 10k Mud Run, which is scheduled to take place on post. Participants can pre-register as individuals or teams between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at the U.S. Marine Corps Detachment Headquarters, Building 689, on the corner of Minnesota and Buckeye avenues. The run covers a variety of terrain, including steep hills, two river crossings, a mud pit and more. The race ends at Happy Hollow recreation area, with post-race festivities, food, and an awards ceremony. For more information, call 573-596-2326 or email flwvolkslauf1@gmail.com.

"Raise it Up" on Flag Day - June 14th, "Raise It Up! Anthem for America" is a nationwide celebration for the bicentennial of the Star-Spangled Banner on Flag Day. The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce invites every citizen in Pulaski County to join them at the Waynesville High School Football Stadium on Flag Day, June 14th at 9 a.m. to proudly sing our National Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner. We will raise our Pulaski County voices to join in on the celebration with the objective to be part of the National Museum of American History's goal of setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest collective National Anthem performance in history. Superhero 5K - June 14th, PCRMC is hosting our 2nd Annual Superhero 5k Run/Fun Walk on Saturday at Lions Club Park at 9:00 am. All proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society. Ace in the Hole Poker Run - June 14th, Poker Run at 575 Blues Lake Parkway in Rolla. Hosted by Phelps Regional Homecare Hospice. Registration is at 8:30 a.m., $20 per hand-includes lunch, silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle, Grand prize is a Branson Getaway. 2nd Annual Driving For the Kids Four Person Golf Scramble -The four person scramble will be held June 14, 2014 at the Oak Hills Country Club in Dixon. Cost is $40 per person ($160 per team). Event includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, longest drive and longest putt, and closest to the pin. There will be a first and second payout on two flights. This event is limited to the first 15 teams. Concealed Carry Weapons Class - June 15th, The Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) is hosting Concealed Carry Weapons Class; the first step in acquiring a Missouri CCW endorsement including weapons qualification on the range. Class is 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.. Cost is $15 to register, $65 day of class. Each student must bring a photo ID, eye and hearing protection, semi-automatic handgun and a revolver (plus minimum of 50 rounds each), and lunch or money for food. All handguns must be in good working condition. If you do not have both types of guns, please notify the OAC at time of pre-registration so that arrangements can be made. Class is open to the public 21 years and older. Interested patrons must be registered the day prior to each class at the Outdoor Adventure Center located in Bldg. 2290 FLW K Road. Military Support Motorcycle Ride - June 21st, 9th Annual USO Military Support Motorcycle Ride at 10 a.m. at Ozark Harley-Davidson in Lebanon and ends at Waynesville City Square. The cost for this event is $15 (donation) per motorcycle. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Fort Leonard Wood USO to help support the uniformed services. All- American Shootout - June 27-29th. Registration fee per Division is $50 and includes t-shirt. There are two divisions - Semi Automatic (9mm-45) and Revolver (38-45). Ozark Chapter CCRA Four Person Scramble - The Ozark Chapter CCRA 1st Annual Golf Outing Four Person Scramble will be Saturday, June 28th at Piney Valley Golf Course, Ft Leonard Wood MO. Registration/Check In is 7a.m. with Tee-off at 8 a.m. The cost is $55 per person and includes entry into all events, 18-holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, and chance to win various prizes! Armed Services YMCA of Missouri Duck Race - July 26th, at the Waynesville City Park from 10:00-3:30 p.m. Entry fee is $100.00. With entry you get a duck and 50 tickets to sell to family, friends and co-workers for $2.00 each to support your duck. If duck wins any of the cash prizes below, your ticket entitles you to a chance for that prize. Ducks may be painted and/or "dressed to impress" but no enhancing the floating quality of the duck. Cash prizes are 1st Place: $300.00; 2nd Place: $200.00; 1st Consolation: $100.00; 2nd Consolation: $ 50.00; and Heat Winners: $ 50.00.
