Chamber Office Closed - July 4th in observance of the Independence Day.

Independence Day Celebration - July 4th, hosted by Fort Leonard Wood and Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation The celebration starts at 3 p.m. on Gammon Field with a Car Show, petting zoo, pony rides, interactive games, disc dog performances, Salute to the Nation, and live entertainment by the 399th Army Band, local musician Kricket Alley and Tour for the Troops Concert featuring country music star Chris Young. The grand finale, the area's largest firework display, will follow the Chris Young Concert. The car show, activities, concert and fireworks are free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Event is festival seating; please bring your lawn chairs. For the safety and security of our service members and families - no coolers, pets and fireworks are allowed on the venue. **Please note** The Chamber of Commerce is excited to have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons. Unfortunately, due to the large number of last minute Chamber luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in APRIL 2005; anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p. is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may be a $10 charged for the meal. The decision was made to charge this amount to compensate our Chamber member restaurants for the last minute adjusts they must make to their menus.

Ribbon Cutting for Girl Adored - July 15th at 3 p.m. at Beauty Zone located at 878 Missouri Ave., Ste. 6 in St. Robert.

Miss and Mr. Firecracker The Red, White, and Blue Pageant - July 19th, The Waynesville - St. Robert Lions Club is sponsoring the Miss and Mr. Firecracker Pageant at the St. Robert Community Center. This is a patriotic wear themed pageant; tutus, custom made, costumes, shorts and a shirt or even jeans and shirt (age appropriate and non revealing, no formals required). It is $50.00 to enter. Open to all ages. The pageant creates opportunities for our queens to represent their community and self-growth. For more information email pulaskicountypageant@gmail.com.

Friends of the Fort Golf Tournament - July 24th is the12th Annual Friend of the Fort Golf Tournament. The Tournament is limited to the first 30 teams, each team will be made up of two individuals from the Lebanon Community and two soldiers/retirees from Fort Leonard Wood. The Entry Fee per person is $50 for soldiers and retirees, $75 for Friends of the Fort members, and $100 for Non-members. Registration/Check is at 12:00 p.m. at Great Life Golf & Fitness with 1:00 p.m. Tee Time. A sack lunch will be provided at the Golf Course. Entry Fee Includes: Riding Cart for Tournament, Sack Lunch at Great Life Golf and Entry for All Contests, and Ticket to the AUSA BBQ at The Golf Course following.

Armed Services YMCA of Missouri Duck Race - July 26th, at the Waynesville City Park from 10:00-3:30 p.m. Entry fee is $100.00. With entry you get a duck and 50 tickets to sell to family, friends and co-workers for $2.00 each to support your duck. If duck wins any of the cash prizes below, your ticket entitles you to a chance for that prize. Ducks may be painted and/or "dressed to impress" but no enhancing the floating quality of the duck. Cash prizes are 1st Place: $300.00; 2nd Place: $200.00; 1st Consolation: $100.00; 2nd Consolation: $ 50.00; and Heat Winners: $ 50.00. Membership Social - July 31st at 6 p.m. at the Hampton Inn. Sponsoring this event is Citizens Mortgage Company with Di Trapani's Italian Bistro providing the food. This annual membership social is a night of networking, fun and entertainment. The cost to attend the Social is $15.00 per person. High 5 Fashion Show and Jazz Concert - August 8th, Come out to the St. Robert Community Center at 6 p.m. for a Fashion Show, Dinner, and Jazz Concert featuring Jazz Guitarist Jeffery Smith. Tickets are $40, for more information and to purchase tickets call 573-336-2336.

Chamber Quarterly +1 Luncheon - August 13th at 11:30 a.m. at the The ARK Community and Sports Center with catering by Sweetwater BBQ. Our sponsor will be Ozarks Technical Community College. Please contact the Chamber Office to RSVP before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12th.

Run/Walk for the Fallen 2014 - August 16th at Gammon Field, Fort Leonard Wood. Registration is at 6:30 a.m., run starts at 7:30 a.m. individual fee is $15 and groups or units with over 25 personnel is $10 free t-shirt with registration. T-shirts without registration is $15. Job Fair - August 21st, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler is once again holding a Job Fair at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, Missouri, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There is no cost for you to participate. Throughout the day she will be meeting in small groups with participating employers to hear your thoughts about the job market and ideas on how to grow the economy.

Operation Workforce Job Fair - August 28th at the St. Robert Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce presents the 10th Annual Operation Workforce Job Fair. Operation Workforce is a workforce recruitment program promoting the connection between employees seeking part-time/full-time positions with employers providing those employment opportunities.
