Starting Seeds Indoor Workshop - March 7th at 6:00 p.m. Whether you are using seeds bought from a nursery catalogue, or seeds collected from your own garden, starting seeds indoors can be a rewarding investment of time and resources. Plants grown by seed indoors in a greenhouse, cold frame, or under grow lights inside a home, offer the benefits of early maturing plants and harvests, better weed competition, healthier less vulnerable plants to pests, and less manual thinning of plants. Seed collecting, storing, and starting, is both and art and a science. To be successful, it is important to have the right knowledge and tools to perform the job in a precise, diligent, and scheduled manner. For more information call the Pulaski County Extension Office at 573-774-6177.

**Please note** The Chamber of Commerce is excited to have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons. Unfortunately, due to the large number of last minute Chamber luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in APRIL 2005; anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p. is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may be a $10 charged for the meal.
