Mo Chip (Missouri Child Identification Program) -
June 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Waynesville Masonic
Lodge 375. The program consists of five major components-digital
photographs, digital fingerprints, vital child information
and emergency contacts, a dental bite impression, and two
laminated ID cards. The photographs, fingerprints, and child
data are burned onto a mini-CD that is compatible with the
AMBER ALERT system already in place. The dental impression
provides a virtual diagram of the child's biting surface,
which, like fingerprints is unique to each individual, and
further supplies enough saliva to provide a DNA sample that
can also be used as scent source for trained canine search
teams. Combined, this five-part process provides a dramatic,
time-sensitive recovery tool for authorities. For more information
contact Kenneth O'Dell at 573-433-4813.

have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons.

luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the
Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in APRIL 2005;
anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00
a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without
an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p.
is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may
be a $10 charged for the meal. The decision was made to charge
this amount to compensate our Chamber member restaurants for
