
Advocate Supervisor
Reports to: Program Director
Primary Location: St. Robert, MO
Secondary Location: Rolla, MO
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Advocate Supervision
● Supervising, mentoring, and coaching 25-35 Court Appointed Special Advocates.
● New case intake, including new case paperwork (intake form, acceptance of appointment form, contact list)
and recent case files.
● Help develop initial case plans and ongoing strategies for advocacy.
● Prepare and distribute assignment documentation.
● Provide mentoring assistance to new advocates.
● Communicate at least monthly with each advocate about case progress.
● Receive, review, and distribute advocate court reports.
● Provide assistance and consultation to advocates as needed and upon request.
● Collaborate with court personnel and partner agencies to support case coordination and address advocate
needs and assignments.
● Conduct annual advocate performance reviews as assigned by the Program Director.
Program Activities
● Assist in planning and implementing advocate appreciation events with the staff, Board of Directors,
Executive Director, and Program Director.
● Abide by the rules, regulations, and adopted policies of the CASA of South Central Missouri program Board
of Directors.
● Assist in the creation and implementation of training opportunities for advocates.
● Work with community members to engage others in the CASA mission, including recruitment and
fundraising.
● Lead community outreach efforts, including attending local events, building relationships with community
organizations, and representing CASA in public forums to increase awareness and support.
● Participate in professional development opportunities as requested by the Program Director.
● This position will work out of the St. Robert and Rolla Offices.
● Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evenings, and weekends during peak
times, is necessary and expected.
Administration:
● Maintain case files under supervision.
● Maintain case statistics and submit monthly reports to the Program Director.
● Maintain advocate statistics and submit monthly reports to the Program Director.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:
● Ability to effectively communicate with, supervise, and support advocates in fulfilling their roles.
● Knowledge and understanding of the issues and dynamics faced by families in crisis, particularly those
related to child abuse and neglect.
● Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, internet
navigation, and email.
● Excellent project management and organizational skills.
● Commitment to the mission and goals of the CASA program.
● Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Schedule:
● 8 hour shift | Monday to Friday | Night and Weekend availability
