Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, processing mail, and maintaining records.
- Assist Front Office staff with day-to-day operations, customer inquiries, and departmental coordination.
- Support the Utilities Administration Office by processing utility payments, assisting customers with billing questions, and completing related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate files, reports, and correspondence.
- Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems.
- Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with scheduling, public inquiries, and information requests.
- Collaborate with other city departments as needed to support efficient operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and common office software (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain confidentiality.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
