Kelly Brownfield

Kelly Brownfield of St. Robert, MO has worked for the USO on Fort Leonard Wood since 2009. She prides herself on being a proud military brat, who spent most of her childhood overseas following her family as they served throughout Germany.

In her current role as Center Operations Manager, she continues to expand the footprint of the USO and helped play a key part in opening several new USO locations within the Kansas City Military Entrance Processing Command and within the KCI airport.

Brownfield oversees on average over 100 programs on Fort Leonard Wood geared towards enhancing the quality of life of our military and their family members. One of her most notable programs within the USO was the creation of the Therapy Dog Program started by Brownfield officially in 2015, it was renamed the USO Canine Program in 2023 and has since been launched worldwide.

Brownfield earned her bachelor's in business management from Grand Canyon University. She loves to stay active within the community and has been a part of the Chamber since 2009 and enjoys giving back to the community in any way she can. When not working, Brownfield enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends and working with her two Great Danes Maverick and Apache.
