Polar Meltdown Chili Cook-Off
The 2020 Polar Meltdown Chili Cook-Off judges were Noel Quail with JCK’s Down Home Cook’n, John Randles with Route 66 Taco Company, and Waynesville High School student Blake Lesh. Awards were given for the following categories: Participation Trophies:
Showmanship Award:
People’s Choice Award:
Judges' Choice Champion Chili:
Best of Show Award:
The People’s Choice Award is awarded to the team that raises the most donations during the event. Event attendees voted for their favorite chili by making cash donations at the team booths. These funds are specifically designated for the Chamber’s Right Choice Scholarship. With the money donated to the People's Choice voting, this year the Chamber will be able to award four - $250 scholarships! The total donations received were $1,000. The Showmanship and Judges’ Choice Champion Chili is decided by the judges and the Best of Show is a combination from the Showmanship and Judges’ Choice Champion Chili categories. By winning the Best of Show Award, Healthy Futures Pulaski County earned a free entry into next year’s event. the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce 13th Annual Polar
Meltdown Chili Cook-Off held Saturday, January 25th.
