As school is about to start the Chamber, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Pulaski County, will present the CHOICES program for the 5th year. The program will be presented to all 8th grade classes in Pulaski County. We now need volunteers to attend training at the end of this month to prepare to be presenters. We also are in need of class sponsors. Without you we will not be able to continue this valuable program in our County Schools. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in this program.

We are still looking for sponsors for the Community Pride Night. We are a few sponsors short and need your help to make this event successful. Show your Waynesville Tiger Pride.

In other news, the Chamber is continuing to work on a community shop local event for the fall and would appreciate any member ideas. The committee has been hard at work starting to visit all area businesses to spread the word on how you can partner with the Chamber on this event. If you are interested in serving on the event committee please let me know so we can add you to the list. The next meeting is August 19th at 9 a.m.
