**Please note** The Chamber of Commerce is excited to have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons. Unfortunately, due to the large number of last minute Chamber luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in April 2005; anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p. is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may be a $10 charged for the meal. The decision was made to charge this amount to compensate our Chamber member restaurants for the last minute adjusts they must make to their menus.

Dedication Ceremony - The State of Missouri and the Missouri Veterans Commission will hold a dedication ceremony for the State Veterans Cemetery at Ft. Leonard Wood on Monday, September 13th at 1 p.m. at the cemetery located at 25350 Highway H in Waynesville.

Senior Golf Tour - The Piney Valley Golf Course will be hosting their annual Senior Tour on September 14th and October 12th. Tour is open to the public ages 50 and up. Cost is $20 per person for Advanced Green Fees Patrons (AGFP), includes breakfast, additional fees will apply for non-AGFP. AGFP will receive $10 cash rebate after the event. Commander's Golf Scramble - September 17th. Are you up for a little friendly competition? LORA Bass Tournament - September 18th and October 9th. Are you ready for some fishing? The Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area (LORA) will hosting their annual Bass Tournament. Entry fee is $40 per boat and a $10 fee for Big Bass is optional. Stop by the Outdoor Adventure Center or LORA for entry forms and rules. Charity Golf Tournament Supporting Home for our Troops - September 29th the Mid Missouri Credit Union will be hosting a Charity Golf at the Piney Valley Golf Course on Fort Leonard Wood. All proceeds to benefit: Homes for our Troops. Tournament is limited to the first 36 teams. Each four-person scramble will be made up of three individuals and one Soldier from FLW. R.s.v.p. by September 17th. Entry fee is $300 per team. Registration begins at noon with a 1 p.m. tee time. Donations for door prizes are also being accepted.
