Fireball Run - Thursday October 2nd and Friday October 3rd, The finish line celebration will be on October 2nd from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in downtown Waynesville. The next days start will be October 3rd from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. in downtown Waynesville. The public is invited and encouraged to come. Please go to the team facebook page and follow the team on their 8 day adventure. Visit http://www.fireballrun.com/ to vote for Pulaski Pride Team #10 as a fan favorite and watch live streaming on all their events.

Paranormal Investigations of the Historic Talbot House - Now through October Talbot House will be offering supervised investigations every Saturday 8:00 p.m. thru 11:00 p.m. Cost is $25.00 per person. Paranormal Teams are welcomed, your investigation are unsupervised and cost per team (up to six people) $150.00 (Maximum of eight), additional members $25.00 per person. Don't forget anyone interested in participating in an investigation must call 573-528-2149 to reserve your date and ensure space availability. We cannot accept anyone arriving on location without prior reservations. We do reserve spaces in advance, if you want to ensure the date and number of people attending we suggest you reserve early.

Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch - Now through November 1st Boiling Springs Campground Outdoors - Mid-Missouri's largest precision cut corn maze and pumpkin patch. Home of the FIREBALL RUN corn maze! Women's Health Expo - October 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Main Post Chapel, on Fort Leonard Wood, the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital Health Promotion Director is hosting a Women's Health Expo which is open to military beneficiaries and the public. Frog Hill Half Marathon - October 4th and starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. Check in and race day registration begins at 7:00 am in the school gym. A shuttle will be available to transport runners from the finish line back to the start. Two person relay teams will complete 6.55 miles each and 3 person teams roughly 4.4 each to finish as a team. Pre-register here. The race will end right in the middle of the town's Frog Fest Festival where every finisher will receive a unique rubber frog medal. Frog Race- October 4th the 7th Annual Frog Races will be held by the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Frogtober Fest at the Waynesville City Park. "Adopt" a frog for $5 or a team of 3 for $10. Frogs will race down the Roubidoux and the first heat will begin at 1 p.m. The Frog Race is sponsored by Sonic Drive In. WCC Golf Tourney - October 4th, the 13th Annual Waynesville Career Center Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Saturday at the Dixon Country Club Golf Course. It is an 18-hole, 3-person scramble. **Please note** The Chamber of Commerce is excited to have such a large number of its members attend monthly luncheons. Unfortunately, due to the large number of last minute Chamber luncheon attendees a policy has been put into place by the Chamber Board of Directors. This policy started in APRIL 2005; anyone who responds after the R.s.v.p. cut-off time (9:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon) or shows up without an R.s.v.p. may be charged an additional $10. If an R.s.v.p. is received and they do not attend the luncheon there may be a $10 charged for the meal. The decision was made to charge this amount to compensate our Chamber member restaurants for the last minute adjusts they must make to their menus.

Chamber Community Pride Night - October 10th at 6:00 p.m. Join the Chamber at a tailgate party before the Homecoming Football Game of the Waynesville High School Tigers. Free hot dogs and soda handed out during the event. For more information contact our office at 573-336-5121.

Route 66 Fest on the Square; Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest is fast approaching. Mark your calendars for October 18, 2014 to join us from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on the downtown Waynesville Square for a great FAMILY FUN time!

"Giving Back to the Community while Giving Yourself the Gift of Health" Launch Party - October 25th from 8am-12:30pm is "Giving Back to the Community while Giving Yourself the Gift of Health" at the ARK Community and Sports Center's Fall Launch Party. Come out and see the awesome group fitness programs we have at the ARK and give back to the community. You can help by bringing food to help fill the pantry at the Good Samaritan, bring hats and gloves for the children, coats for the community, or you can make a donation of $10 (cash only please) to be given to the Good Samaritan. We will also host our Kid's Day Out program so your workout can be guilt free. Cost for the Kid's Day Out is $5 in advance and $10 at the door and includes lunch. Fund Raiser Dinner - October 25th, at 6 p.m. come out to a dinner to raise funds for The Chimney Relocation Project. Hosted by the St. Robert Historical Preservation Committee. Dodge Brawl - November 1st, the Snack in a Pack Dodge Brawl is back. This Charity adult dodge ball tournament help to fund the Waynesville R-VI School District Snack in a Pack program. The tournament is open to individuals 18 years or older. Register for $80 per team by October 24th or $100 per team October 25th or later. Team are made up by 6 - 10 players, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Best Dressed Team awards will be given. Spectators are welcome, admission is $2.00, Dodge Brawl t-shirts will be on sale at the event for $10.00. Veterans' Day Ceremony & Parade - November 11th, the Waynesville-St. Robert Area Chamber of Commerce and the cities of Waynesville and St. Robert invite the public to enjoy the 2014 Veterans' Day Ceremony and Parade on Tuesday beginning with the ceremony at 11:00 a.m. The parade will line up in the Waynesville Middle School parking lot beginning at 9:30 a.m. The parade will officially step off following the ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and will go right on Route 66 to the downtown square of Waynesville ending in the Waynesville city park. The deadline for parade entry registration is October 31st by 5:00 p.m. The parade may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

Shop Small Business Saturday - The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of and participation in the fifth annual Small Business Saturday on November 29th. Created by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. Celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the day has given small businesses across the country a huge boost. Recognizing the importance of supporting small independently-owned businesses in our community, the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our support for Small Business Saturday. The community is encouraged to take part in our Small Business Saturday on November 29th. Stop by participating businesses to show your support of small businesses and pick up some Shop Small giveaways.
