Wells Fargo Home Mortgage opened its doors in St Robert, Missouri in May 2000. The office was opened by Ina Fernandez, a long time resident in the area. Ina had been looking for a bank that had financial stability as well as the largest possible selection in programs. Out of that priority, Wells Fargo Bank was selected.

About the owner/manager:

Ina Fernandez has been a resident of Waynesville since 1976. She arrived as a military dependent and married a military spouse in 1980. She sold Real Estate in 1979 (when interest rates were over 12%) and then entered the Financial Services Field. She prepared income taxes from 1982 through 1990. She sold Life and Health insurance for years after that. She completed a two-year study in Financial Planning and graduated from the College for Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado, in 1995 by correspondence study and testing. She chose the mortgage field because she enjoys working with people AND with numbers. She especially loves to see young people successfully become first time home buyers.
