The Waynesville-St. Robert Area Chamber of Commerce has decided to change the date and location of the first annual Frog Race due to the cancellation of Frog Fest.  The Frog Race will take place on May 9th during their golf tournament dinner at the Piney Valley Golf Course on Fort Leonard Wood.  The frogs will swim around a pond and the three winning frogs will be pulled from the water.  The 1st place prize is a $100 savings bond, 2nd place prize is a $75 savings bond and 3rd prize is a $50 savings bond, all savings bonds donated by First State Bank.  Frog Adoptions are still available for $5 each or 3 for $10.  The Frog Race is sponsored by the Phelps County Regional Medical Center and Pulaski Medical Clinic.  For more information about this event please contact the Chamber office at (573) 336-5121.
