Economic and Community Development Forum
Economic and Community Development Forum Speakers Announced
Economic and Community Development are two topics that
generate the most discussion and interest. That is why the
Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce is excited to
announce they will be the focus of their eighteenth Community
Forum on Monday, January 25, 2010 in the Waynesville High
School Library beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Economic and Community Development is important to everyone
in Pulaski County which is why the Chamber has chosen to
again visit this topic. This is one of the most informative
forums held throughout the year and the Chamber hopes the
community will take the time to come out and ask the questions
currently on their minds. Speakers for the evening will
include Ft. Leonard Wood Garrison Commander COL Charles
Williams, St. Robert Mayor Pro-Tem Todd Williams, Waynesville
Mayor Cliff Hammock, Waynesville R-VI School District Superintendent
Dr. Judene Blackburn, Pulaski County Growth Alliance Executive
Director Wayne Morgan and the U.S. Census Bureau Partnership
Specialist Laurie Patton-Glasson.
After a brief statement from each guest there will be a
question/answer session where the public and media will
be able to submit questions for the speakers. Moderating
this event will be Chamber President Mike Dunbar. This event
will be broadcast on Channel 12 but questions cannot be
received via telephone and must therefore be submitted in
person.
The Chamber believes that this forum will help to educate
our citizens on concerns dealing with Economic and Community
Development. For further information contact the Chamber
of Commerce at (573) 336-5121.
