Alana Hancock

Waynesville has been my home for the past 11 years in which during that time I have worked in the real estate industry. I just recently converted my hobby of being a photographer into a new business, Elegant Nature by Alana. I was born and raised in Houston, Tx where most of my family still remains. I graduated from Alief Hastings High School and went on to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor on a softball scholarship, where I met my husband who was stationed at Ft. Hood. My husband and I have been married for 24 years and have 2 great boys, Jordan, who is currently stationed at Ft. Benning and Ryan, who is attending Drury University for Criminal Justice.

I am a firm believer in community involvement, community pride, and community progression so much that when my husband retired in May of 2010 after 22 years in the U.S. Army, we decided to make Waynesville our permanent home. It has been wonderful to see the progression of the community and businesses in the area and am looking forward to watching it grow in the future. I support the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce where I served as the Ambassador Vice President and then President, and have been a member of the Ambassador Club for over 5 years. I look forward to the opportunity of being a part of the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
